CX Trends is an annual research report that highlights Zendesk’s thought-leadership approach to customer service.
It's focal point was an Interactive Report website and pdf that explored how immersive CX and AI shaped the future of business. My role was to art direct and design the campaign's look and feel across web, social, print, and video.
Art Directed Imagery
Each of the five trends had a corresponding theme and image that had to be art directed to fit the report's narrative. I worked closely with illustrator Derek Abella on create imagery that touched on the narrative themes of Immersive CX.
Design System
The unifying piece of the CX Trends system this year was tied to the idea of utilizing shapes as windows into different immersive experiences. Each shape represented an experience and a window into the specific world.
Additionally each shape had a unique brand color tied to the shape to create better distinction between each trend when we presented it visually. Below is a breakdown of some of the biggest considerations to the design system and how they were interpretted in pieces such as social ads, banners, and video.
